The basics

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device — computer, phone, or tablet — when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners about how their site is being used.

Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your device. They are unique to your browser and can only be read by the website that created them or by trusted third-party services that the website uses.

Cookies on DialFit

What we use and why.

DialFit currently uses cookies from two third-party services only — Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any other form of behavioural tracking for commercial purposes.

Detailed breakdown

Each cookie explained.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Analytics

DialFit uses Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-BZ6VYMYX78) to understand how visitors use the platform — which tools are most used, how long people spend on each page, and where visitors come from geographically. This helps us improve the platform and prioritise new tools.

Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address (anonymised), browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on the platform. This data is aggregated and anonymous — it does not identify you personally.

Google's use of analytics data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google reCAPTCHA v3
Security

DialFit uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 on its contact forms — specifically the Talk to an Expert and Get in Touch forms. reCAPTCHA is a security service that helps protect DialFit from spam, bots, and automated abuse without requiring users to complete a visual challenge.

reCAPTCHA v3 works invisibly in the background. It analyses user behaviour on the page and assigns a risk score, which DialFit uses to determine whether a form submission is genuine. Google may use the data collected by reCAPTCHA for its own purposes in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

reCAPTCHA cookies are essential for the security of DialFit's forms and cannot be disabled without preventing form submissions from working correctly.

Google AdSense (not yet active)
Future

DialFit may activate Google AdSense in the future to support the platform's sustainability. If activated, Google AdSense will set additional cookies on your device to serve and personalise advertisements.

This Cookie Policy will be updated immediately if Google AdSense is activated. A cookie consent banner will also be added to the platform at that point, giving you the ability to manage your advertising cookie preferences. For now, no advertising cookies are set on DialFit.

Your controls

How to manage your cookies.

You have several options for controlling cookies on DialFit and across the web. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of DialFit's forms.

01
Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Visit your browser's help section for instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
02
Opt out of Google Analytics
Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits across all websites that use it, including DialFit.
03
Manage Google's use of your data
Visit Google's Data & Privacy settings to review and manage how Google uses data collected through its services, including Analytics and reCAPTCHA.
04
Note on reCAPTCHA cookies
reCAPTCHA cookies are essential for the security of DialFit's contact forms. If you disable them via your browser settings, you will not be able to submit the Talk to an Expert or Get in Touch forms. All other tools and calculators on DialFit will continue to work normally.

Disabling analytics cookies (GA4) will not affect your ability to use any DialFit tools. It simply means we will not receive data about your visit to help us improve the platform.
